Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs beef brisket flat cut, fat cap intact
  • 1 packet Lipton dry onion soup mix
  • 2 tbsp coarse ground Dijon mustard or yellow mustard
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the brisket: Place the brisket in the crock pot with the fat cap facing up.
  • Season: Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the top of the meat.
  • Add mustard: Generously squirt mustard over the brisket, spreading it evenly.
